I got a Rubella shot in the 70's that " didn't take " . I had no immunity to it

and it didn't show up in the bloodwork when I had my daughter.

For 22 years I didn't have a rubella shot. I live in NYC in a high immigrant

area (that they CLAIM puts you at more risk of getting diseases). I had a

baby, I was fine and she was fine until the hospital FORCED me into getting

the rubella VAX before I left the hospital.

I became very ill from it and now suffer from Panic/GAD/Severe Depression and

mild BiPolar disorder, all of which showed up within weeks of the shot.

She will be fine without Rubella VAx, trust me.

Mercy, can I just say that I can't believe you are continuing to hire this

creton as your pediatrician? How DARE she!

Would you like me to forward suggestions on locating a new pedi?

Were you a member of the group when we recently had a rubella conversation?

There was some good info about the vaccine and the disease and the use of

Vitamin A during viral illness contracted when pregnant.

Well there are a handful of diseases not-vaxed for that your dd could catch

during pregnancy which will harm the

fetus-rubella,CMV,CP,Fifths,toxoplasmosis.Luckily they don't vax yet for most

of them,but they are working on it,and pretty soon women will be getting

booster shots postpartum for diseases we all had a children! And the sad part

is many of them will need booster after the next child too!

I just love the scare tactics these doctors use. I came in contact with kids

who had 5th disease in the third trimester of my pregnancy, I was terrified,

all they did was monitor her via sonogram and everything was fine, it turns

out I had 5th as a child and I was OK, so was Sophie. That is the BEST way to

develop an immunity, NATURALLY!

stores for recommendations. (That's how I found an alternative Internal

Medicine MD)

You can ask for recommendations from direct entry midwives. Don't know that I

would set much stock in any recommendations from a CNM because they tend to

be more medically oriented. Just gotta know your CNM's beliefs and practices.

->LOL! Well I'm certainly not thinking of going back! Hard to switch with

Insurance Co's and all that though.Also, I truly doubt I would find any Dr

around here that would be understanding. We live in an area with 6 hospitals in

one city, very medicalized place. This is the second Ped I've been to in the

past year. The first was very stern with the " lecture " and basically asked me

who did I think I was, having not been to Med school making this decision.

This current Ped didn't lecture me when I went in with my two youngest daughters

for school physicals at the beginning of the year, so i thought she'd be okay, I

was wrong.

issue and you should then consider chelation therapy.

How does one become able to do this (certification?)

Hi, !

A great source of info is another group called .

Many people on this message board are chelating their autistic children, but

some are doing it to themselves.

Andy Cutler wrote a book about chelation, and he is on the board frequently

answering questions.

Some are using a doctor, some are not. Those who are not are using

over-the-counter chelating agents. There is lots of good information about

where to get over-the-counter chelating agents on this message board.

It is a very active message board, and I suggest reading the FAQ's and some

archived messages before posting as many of your questions may have already been

answered.

change the ped!!!! i would for sure, allow such

outrageous behavior only once, a second chance is not

given!

rubella: your 11yo still has a few years to get

rubella naturally. then, weigh off the chances between

getting rubella in those first 3 months of pregnancy

against the likelihood of an adverse reaction to the

vax. no doctor might agree, but i believe the chance

of getting an adverse reaction is way higher than

catching rubella during 3 months while pregnant.

No, it does not - its a live vaccine and they don't have mercury (supposedly)

This is the perfect example in homeopathy - you get a vax and you then have

a deeper disdturbance on the mental emotional level. We see it ALL the

time with people after VAX's. Any vax. See a homeopath

Plus, don't forget about the benefits of Vit A and C as it's passed to fetus...

rubella naturally. then, weigh off the chances between

getting rubella in those first 3 months of pregnancy

against the likelihood of an adverse reaction to the

vax. no doctor might agree, but i believe the chance

of getting an adverse reaction is way higher than

catching rubella during 3 months while pregnant.
