Dear subscribers to AIDS- INDIA

I am a student at the London school of hygiene and tropical medicine

london, UK. For the purposes of my summer project , i am reveiwing

the burden of HIV in India due to unsafe injections and blood

transfusion and trying to model incident infections too

for this purpose i am in urgent need of some information. i would be

glad if the group can share their experience with me

my specific questions are

1) proportion of blood in India screened for HIV

2) Annual number of units of blood transfused

3) proportion of medical injections tahta re unsafe

4) annual number of injections per person per year

Other than that if there is anay information even remotely concerned

with this topic i will be glad to receive it
