Guest guest
with the pedestrican! After the first well being check up 2 months ago, when he was 2 month old, and the doctor almost vaccinated my baby, and when I said isn't 2 month old too young for 4 shots? (DTP, HIB, IPV, Hep the doctor wanted to be nice to me, and said, u know what? Lets postpone the shots when baby will be 4 months... I said yes... will come back in march 23... felt uneasy but after learning about vaxes, the first night I read that information, I got so upset I couldn't sleep all night! That visit in the pedestrican office who almost gave 4 shots to my beautiful baby played in my mind again and again and I was so upset! So I will not go to the pedestrican. Lucky me, I am not covered by my work's health insurance, it expired just after the baby's appointment 2 months ago. So if the doctor's office will call me to ask me why we didn't show up for the baby's vaccination shcedule that already behind schedule - what shall I tell? I think about telling: yes, I am sorry I forgot to inform you that I can't come, because I don't have health insurance, and can't afford so I already transferred to medicaid and my baby has other pedestrician or: yes, my baby got vaccinations from medicaid pedistrician, I am sorry I forgot to cancel the appointment due my insurance expiration.. what shall I tell them if they call from the office? I never ever answer my phone As for saying you don't have insurance and switched to medicaid/another ped...why go into it? I mean really if I miss an appointment because I simply changed my mind I don't feel obligated to give a lengthy explination. You are making far to much out if it.Try to relax. Why don't you just call today after hours and leave a message that you are canceling your appoint.Better though to call during hours and cancel, but first tell them to make a copy of your child's records, and either mail them or let you know when you can pick them up. sara

Guest guest
you're fretting over nothing. if you truly feel your pediatrician is going to be on your case by calling you day and night regarding vaccinating your child, then quit going to him. find a good homeopath, can't repeat that enough. relax....you have a right to " not " vaccinate, stop fretting! kim Re: tomorrow my baby has appointment > Tell them your child already has all the shots he or she needs! Guest guest
I doubt they will call. I had done the same thing and never once has anyone called. If they do, so what???? You are hiring them and paying them for a service...not the other way around. Just apologize for forgetting about the appointment but that you have a different Dr now...ask for your child's records to be ready for you to pick up. >At 04:51 AM 3/25/02 +0000, you wrote: > >with the pedestrican! > > > >After the first well being check up 2 months ago, when he was 2 month > >old, and the doctor almost vaccinated my baby, and when I said isn't > >2 month old too young for 4 shots?
