Guest guest
Dear Mr. Prasada Rao, Mr. Rajan and others, through e-forum have raised a very pertinent point in exercising caution and to doubly check the data showing any decline in AIDS figures in the country. All AIDS stake holders will sure rejoice and heartly congratulate you for any surch results to be factual. I remember having heard in dismay a presentation at 13th World AIDS Conference at Durban about dismal care extended to AIDS patients in major hospitals in the Capital. However after I started collecting first hand information on my coming back to country, after 7 year stint as a UNDP-UNV/IEC specialist for HIV/AIDS in Zambia, I found that thanks to persistently carried out work, the situation had radically altered and largely the PLA organisations were now vocal about care in public health institutions
