He grilled me and neil pate for four hours each. The proceedure allows him to defend himself : his case is that we cooked up this story because he refused to `arrest' the people from the street and we got angry. he denied all and said that we have a personal vendetta against him because he supported the corporators. !!! Meanwhile, yellawa a woman who used to practice prostitution in Nippani was raped and died on the highway about 30 kms from Nippani. this happened when i was in the states. shabana says when she went to see her - yellawa was totally briused and had lost her voice. she could not give a statement of what happened to her and she died a few hours later. We were so distressed by this and we had to face khot. I was devastated by his impudence. he also gathered 20 persons who were not even present in the police station that day to say that we are lying and that the incident never occured. He reiterated that the HIV/AIDS work is a front for running the brothel and since he did not allow this we cooked up this story against him. !!! Wither justice? In Solidarity, meena saraswathi seshu.
