Guest guest
Ok, I finally ordered our sauna and sent off payment today. Yippee! Here's the info on where we ordered it for folks who wanted it: C. Safe Reading & Computer Box Company 4407 Swinson Road , MI 48652 (517) 689-6369 The one we ordered was his one-person, portable sauna which is 76 " long, 29 " wide and 34 " high. A smallish adult and child could sit in it together. It's made of a metal frame surrounded by untreated cotton canvas and has a specially-made heater which is supposedly better than others due to off-gassing. The guy who makes it was apparantly one of those terribly sensative folks who couldn't handle any off-gasing of anything. He developed this one for his needs and now hand-makes them and sells them for $695 each plus s & h. I'm in Texas, and the unit with shipping is a total of $740. If you call and ask for a brochure, he'll send you info plus a picture of the unit. He also makes custom saunas if you want a bigger one. Now for the downside, he requires pre-payment before he'll make your sauna. This made me a bit nervous but since a (who used to be on this list but I haven't seen her post lately and is also a patient of our doctor) ordered one several months ago, got it and is happy with it, I decided to go for it. Still, it's order at your own risk . He told me it would be shipped in 2-3 weeks so I'll let you guys know what I think when I get it. We plan to do the intensive modified Hubbard regimine starting the first of October. Since we're both so close to recovery, I'm hoping this will be just what we need to make it . Guest guest
This is a regular heater -- not an infra-red. Also, there is no website. You have to call the guy to get info or to order it. Gaylen
