Immunity from asymptomatic chickenpox??

Hi all!

Three weeks ago I exposed my two children, 2 and 4, to chickenpox

through a child that was in the contagious stage. They shared

cookies, juice straws and ice cream, and played together for quite a

while.

Neither one of my children have developed any symptoms. According to

what I've found, chicken pox can be asymptomatic. Logically, my

children have been expsoed to the virus and their bodies have reacted

in some way to the virus, but can I assume that they have acquired

immunity?

I'd be very grateful for any insight!!

Yours,

Lilian
