Book update and something sad

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to tell you about the Book--I have been busy, very busy with it.

The whole book has been revamped, updated and spiffed up. The dateline to

complete was December 1--so it's done. The only thing that still needs to be

decided is which updated picture to use since we gave them two. The name has

been changed--not sure I can tell you what it is--but the good news is it should

be out in February or March. It is Chuck's book but I wrote a good portion of

the Note to Parents and that's what's been taking up my time.

On a sad note, a very sad note, my cousin--who was just about as close to me as

my brothers and four years younger than me--died right before Thanksgiving. Had

planned to post my usual Thanksgiving post here but just didn't have the heart.

He didn't have to die and I have been debating if I should say anything here

but........he died of complications of the flu. He didn't think he should have

a flu shot, didn't think he was that sick and died in his bed, his partner

finding him when he came home for lunch. He lived in LA and since this is a

coroner's case, his body won't be released until sometime in January. We can all

debate about whether to get a flu shot but this is a case where it probably

would have helped. I am devastated.

Now that " 's World " (oops, didn't mean to slip !)is off and running, will

be around more.
