Why didn't you share some of those thoughts with the doctor and his staff? If

you did so in a respectful way, it probably would have been very helpful. I

find that the more open I am about things and more I share about how to best

approach my child the better off we are. If more parents speak up, then the

doctors will learn eventually even if they seem closed off. My sister told

me about a psychologist who poo pooed that allergies could affect ADHD

behavior years ago. Last year, they attended a group therapy session he

offered and found him insisting that families look at allergies.
