Guest guest
I am addressing this message to NACO, It was encouraging to read about the decline in the cases of HIV infection in India as presented by NACO. If true, this is an incredible achievement considering the various projections of high rates of infection with a steady increase over the next several years. I would be interested to know how this was achieved in a huge country like India. What was the strategy and how was this implemented? Did the government carry out the programmes on its own or did they include the civil society in the prevention programmes? I am sure the international community would greatly benefit from the experience of India's successful prevention programme.
