Dear Memmbers,

I am Associate Professor in Medicine in Medical College , Indore and Incharge

HIV/AIDS physician.

I have a HIV positive woman with AIDS admitted in my ward for last 2 months. The

lady lost her husband due to AIDS and she has Tuberculosis also. Government

hospital is supplying her the drugs for Tuberculosis and HAART with full

support. At present after good recovery, problem is she has no place to go after

discharge and she is in medical ward for at least a month more than what was

required. Her only daughter and Son in law have refused to accept her.

I wish to know from forum members ,there opinion regarding such case.

Do we have some place where she can be sent to live?

What is the position and support from National Women Rights Comission in such

cases? Can they or someone else provide some help?
