Guest guest
I am not very good at the dental issues so not sure, but I do know an x-ray can tell you if he has those teeth or not- baby and adult. We were very lucky to find an ortho who does a lot of special needs kids and is the parent of a child with ASD to boot. :-) He LOVES kids with DS- says they are best kids to work on. They always do what he asks :-) Carol in IL AIM doihavtasay1 GigaTribe doihavtasayMom to seven including , 7 with TOF, AVcanal, GERD, LS, Asthma, subglottal stenosis, and DS.My problem is not how I look. Looks like all the top ones are in. She still needs to make her two yr old apt at the dentist. But our pedi said if she does not have them now she won't get them. Now our Pedi is not an expert on DS.. though sometimes he tends to think he is. So.. Is it true that she wont get them just cause she is now over two? So the dentist can do an xray and see if there are permenant ones under there ( or baby ones too right?)? TIA Steph Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Faith's teeth were slow to come in and came in differently than usual. I had her x-rayed at about 2.5 and all her baby teeth were present, they eventually came through. At her last dentist visit she had another x-ray and has 4 missing permanent teeth. At the orthodontist consult he said that was fine, the baby teeth should stay there and if not she can use the extra space. ette mom to Faith (10)DS --------- Re: Lose 1st tooth at what age?
