A friends daughter, Tathiana, 23, DS, who is very independent, works in a beauty parlour, goes out at night with friends (no parents), etc, has been studying french for 2 years and now wants to see Paris by herself. She wanted to stay 1 month, but her parents negociated to 15 to 20 days. They are looking for a family/person from the DS community or not, who can receive and lodge her, and asked me to ask around. They are prepared to pay for it. If you know of anyone who could help, please write back. This made me wonder... does anyone know of an interchange students agency that make special provisions for students with disabilities or would be open to do so ? I lived with a family in the UK for 6 months when I was 18 and it was one of the best experiencies I ever had. I consider it would be great four our teens and adults, too. Cheers, Pat mum to - Brazil
