Workshop on Project Planning

Dear colleagues,

INSA-India is conducting a Workshop on PROJECT PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION from

the 26TH TO THE 28TH OF FEBRUARY 2003 in Bangalore. This workshop will help

managers of projects to identify process-oriented approaches to planning

projects. They will undertake methods for Participatory Community Appraisal and

discuss {or prepare} technicalities involved with writing a project proposal.

Cost effective resource utilization and shifting the paradigm in project

implementation will also be covered. Budget making and any other issues related

to Project Planning that the participants of the workshop seek clarification on

will be covered, depending on time. The workshop is participatory in nature.

The workshop will begin on 26thth of February 2003 at 9.00 a.m. Participants

could arrive in the morning of the 26th of February or a day earlier. Board and

Lodge {twin sharing} for out-station participants are arranged UPON REQUEST at

THE INDIAN SOCIAL INSTITUTE, 28, BENSON ROAD, BENSON TOWN BANGALORE -560046.

If you wish to depute staff to this Workshop kindly contact us as soon as

possible since seats are limited to 15 persons. The application procedure is

simplified to your sending in your name, organization name and the registration

fee of Rs. 1500/- before the 30th of January 2002 by e-mail or phone. We shall

immediately let you know of your selection for the Workshop. This is a

subsidized programme. INSA-India will bear the costs of the workshop materials
