Guest guest
Glisson's capsule: The capsule of the liver. A layer of connective tissue surrounding the liver and ensheathing the hepatic artery, portal vein, and bile ducts within the liver. Named for the British physician, anatomist, physiologist, and pathologist Francis Glisson (1597-1677). I have never read about something that, if I searched the Internet, I wouldn't find out what it was. Our search engines are valuable tools and would answer a lot of questions we might have. Joe C. Guest guest
Except, now I have an accurate but useless definition - I am still clueless as to what difference it makes whether the pain site is in the Glisson's capsule or other places in the liver, this might be something I should know. Thanks - I am a regular user of google, have been since google appeared, and before that . It appears it makes some difference as to where this pain radiated from and that is what I would like to know as it seems important information. Do you know the answer?
