I have gone through one such test namely: " TRI DOT SCREEING TEST " According to this test I am now Non reactive to TO HIV 1 AND HIV 2 Whether this test is sufficient to ensure that I am negative to HIV Plz inform me and guide me. In my experience, in the past, Tridot gives false negative as well as false positive results, hence, it is better to recheck by another technique - either ELISA or spot. 3. To detect HIV infection, history, clinical examination and HIV tests, all three are important.
