Guest guest
Hi Didley, My mother officially died of a heart attack, after receiving chemo for oral cancer. It weakened her so much that her heart gave out. The statistics of her death went into heart attack and not cancer. That is how they keep the numbers down. Aren't there some cancers that respond well to chemo? Someone told me that...very few but some. I used to hold hope for the chemo that attacks the cancer and stops the blood source but now even that has been challenged. I think the future of cancer treatment lies in stem cells and radiowaves. It seems to me the traditional drug treatment of cancer is more dangerous than the disease itself. As a nurse, I learned that you should never get chemo drugs on your hands, as they can cause cancer. To me, that was not only a revelation, but a weird paradox. Imagine, a drug used to treat cancer can cause it!Dudley Delany, R.N., M.A., D.C. dudley_delany
