Sexual Health Resource Centre SHRC is currently looking for 3 Technical

Officers

Sexual Health Resource Centre (SHRC) has been set up to ensure that the States

of Gujarat,Andhra Pradesh, Kerala ,West Bengal and Orissa are better equipped

to deliver effective and informed sexual health programmes. In order to achieve

this, the resource centre works towards strengthening the State AIDS Control

Societies,State level institutions working in HIV/AIDS and the national/state

level consultants in the field of HIV/AIDS and related areas.It also provides

technical assistance to State Aids Control Societies on strategy and programme

development and disseminates information to policy makers and programme staff

..

SHRC is currently looking for 3 Technical Officers.

The technical officers would be required to facilitate and coordinate the

various activities relating to HIV/AIDS programmes with the States,collaborate

and meet with State AIDS Control Societies ,National AIDS Control Organisation,

Research Agencies and Consultants.

The job would would involve considerable travel.

Qualifications and experience : The incumbents should have a Masters in any of

the following-Social work/Statistics/ Social Science or a degree in Public

Health or medical qualification (MBBS) or degree in Management. Overall

experience of 7-8 years with relevant experience of 2-3 years in the field of

HIV/AIDS or Research or Training related work would be desirable.

The positions are Delhi based and contractual.Salary is negotiable and should

not be a contraint for the suitable candidate.
