Guest guest
We have/own an iPad and will meet with school on Friday to review what apps we can put on it. My son, who has autism, is 18 and mostly non-verbal. Looking for apps to deal with life skills, emotions, medical symptoms, vocabulary and reading, basic math etc. He knows many words. We would like to figure out how many and build on it. He is not into electronics so this is his first experience with it. Need suggestions on free ones and ones to purchase. Had a free one on there where we could write on it, I assisted with writing that he wanted chicken. He wrote most of the word himself and was please to see that when we reviewed what we wrote that I got some for him! So the writing was different than with a pen/pencil and he recognized the word to write it and read it. Lots of information in him that we are looking forward to know. Thanks.
