ITS A SCAM!!!! (envelope stuffing)

DO NOT send them any money!!! About 6 months ago, my

Aunt saw an ad in her newspaper for this same scan --

$2.00 per envelope stuffed. Since she was looking for

a little extra money, she thought this might be a good

way to earn it. Well, she had to mail in a specified

amount of money (I dont remember how much), so she went

and got a money order. Instead of mailing it, she went

to the place that it was supposed to be mailed to. She

went in and bluntly asked the person if it was a scam.

Of course the person said " no " . My Aunt then proceeded

to tell this person that she hopes not, otherwise she

will be on the phone with the County Executive. (She

WORKS for the county exec.!!). Well, long story short

(kind of..lol) she gave the " business " ample time to

send her the envelopes, and she never heard from them.

She then called the police (I think it was the

police....) and told them her story. They said it WAS

a scam, and in fact they had justed arrested the people

that were running it! My Aunt told them that she gave

them a money order. They said that they had a room

full of boxes with checks/money orders that people had

sent, which they were holding as evidence, and if she

wanted to, she could come down to look for hers. She

did and luckily it was in one of the first couple of

boxes she searched through. She said there were

hundreds of boxes!!

Anyway, I am sorry that this was so long, I just didnt

want ANYONE falling for it!! I still cant believe my

Aunt did!!

Sounds silly,but it sounds easy enough. 2 dollars

perenvelope...Anyone try

it? I was thinking about it,but do not know which is a

scam and whichis

not. The one I have says it will refund the 19.95 you

pay, for thepacket of

info, with your first 100 envelopes stuffed. That may

not be alot of

money,but it is when you are poor..>>
