Inaugration of Goan Community for Positive People

Mrs.Marriete Correa from Goa State Aids Control Society had come as

chief guest for the innaugration function & Miss.Trisca Fernandes had

come from Life Line Foundation goa ,Marriete Correa started cermony

by cutting a ribbion & she said to all Board Members & Members to

run a organisation in a very good manner & she gave a good luck to

all, Marriete Correa said that she was very happy to-day for the

innaugration of GCP+, she gave a introduction of GCP+ how this

organisation in past without any financial support .She said this

organisation will do the best because GCP+ was working volluntary

from last three years & she gave a best of luck to GCP+.

Then President Jaffer Inamdar gave a introduction of GCP+,

he shared his past experience , he said that our organisation was

registered in 1998 with seven Positive People who came forward & he

said that he is very happy that our dream became a true .

Then G.Secretary Mr Arun Tomar said that the GCP+ is a

state level network of INP+ Indian Network for People living with

HIV/AIDS.He shared his past experience, he said that will get a good

name because without any financial support the organisation was stood

on only with member`s support he said that all the member`s & Board

member`s are united so it will get a good name ,this is the only one

organisation in goa which is by the Positive People & for the

Positive People.

Then G.Secretary M.r Arun Tomar gave a vote of thanks to all

Chieg Guest ,Member`s, & all well wisher`s of Goan Community for

Positive People & for making more brighten & then he closed a

cermony .

Introduction of Goan Community for Positive People.

Goan Community for Positive People(GCP+)is a non profit,non

government,social service coomunity based organisation of People

living with HIV/AIDS in Goa. And its secretariat based in Goa ,Seven

people living with HIV/AIDS came forward & formed a GCP+ in october

1998. GCP+ is a state level network of INDIAN NETWORK FOR PEOPLE

LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS,GCP+ is a network of and by people living with

HIV/AIDS the overall mission of this organisation is to improve the

quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.To increase the level

of awareness and reduce the prevalence HIV/AIDS,exist to provide

sense of belonging and togetherness of people living with HIV/AIDS in

goa.The objectivees of GCP+ are to provide a voice for HIV Positive

People ,increasing the level of visibility of epidemic for PLWHAS and

general community in goa .
