Gail, you asked

" Carol, is medicinal licorice sold over the counter? "

Gail, I believe is should be available at health food stores or other places

that sell supplements. If they don't have it they might be able to order it.

I get my licorice (with glycerizzin) from Labs. only sells to

medical professionals. However, Health Net (1-888-787-7536) sells all the

products at a discount (20 to 30%). The website is

www.douglaslabs.com if anyone wants to check it out, especially a medical

professional. Originally, about half the products Cheney had me on were from

. Then another doctor of mine (clinical psychologist in NC whose wife

has had CFIDS for about 20 years) offered to let me order off his account - a

50% savings! He does this for all his patients. So I switched virtually all my

products over to Labs. They had an equivalent for most of what I was

taking, except the Laktoferrin with Colostrum, and of course Immunocal. (They

carry virtually all vitamins, minerals, herbs, aryuvedics, and many specialized

products.) Everything half price from a top-quality company and no trips to the

store! Can't beat that!

Take care. Carol
