I just received the green application from SS to apply

for the first time. I was wondering, from those that

have applied, do you recommend getting an attorney

right away or wait until you get denied?

Also, when " interviewing " attorneys, what should I be

asking (besides " are you familiar with CFS/Fibro? " and

how many of these cases have you been successful in?<

Funny I'm answering this as my hearing is next week and it looks bad. I

think the first try is without an attorney, same with second because it

seems the turndown rate is just screaming. After that, you get one. Also,

Get a referral from your local support group. Who knows better than those

who've been there? they can also help with the app process, it's hard.
