Guest guest
hi judy! yes, herpes diagnostics has a website! it's http://hhv6.com/ and is loaded with interesting info, including directions for getting tested. but the test is expensive, and may or may not be covered by your ins. i've also heard it can take 5 or 6 tests before it turns up positive. dr brewer believes if he could keep testing, we'd all be positive 100%. it is, i believe, turning up 100%, positive in spinal fluid. but the spinal tap, i know, is only being used for research purposes. and i think, pretty much, that's all the blood test is really good for, right now, too. from what i understand - they are the only place that has a test for ACTIVE hhv6. they have a patent on the test - they " own " it. although somebody else mentioned they may have licensed a lab in NY state somewhere to do it, too? i learned a week ago my 2nd one came back positive. and my NK cell " count " was 4. debbie s. - dlsherman@...
