sense of smell, and prozac reaction

hi april!!

i have a problem with smell & taste sense, without a cold, and so does

my daughter! i think this is pretty common.

i had a problem with 10mg of prozac - got a burst of energy from it -

used it - and crashed! 20mg 12 or 13 yrs ago made me " drunk " . is that

how your daughter crashed? 20mg could be way too much for her. i'm on

7.5mg now, and seems to work fine. not sure i'd take her off it

completely . . .?

my daughter isn't taking anything yet - i'm hoping something like a

little prozac, and no more gym class will keep her in school. but that

may be too optimistic. i let her ice skate almost 3 weeks ago - she's

only been to school 2 or 3 days since. we see a doc i finally found,

this afternoon.

3 mos. ago, she was coming home from school every day, eating, and going

to bed, and staying there till next morning. now she's having trouble

with insomnia. stays awake half the night, then can sleep for 12-14 hrs

straight, and is still exhausted.
