Guest guest
Yes I tried Ev P oil. The recommended dose is 8 capsules daily. Never got that high - too expensive and I used a different brand - from Costco-Price Club. I what I read about it you should take COD liver oil with it.[ Efamol Marine was not available in Canada but was in England - COD liver oil is the marine component] Personally I only used 3 a day and it helped some but effects stabilize and you need to increase dose. However just after starting to take it [3 daily] my weight went UP by 20 pounds in one month thus I only take it occasionally now. I rotate what I take. I have heard some took the 8 daily but it didn't affect their weight [lucky stiffs :-) ] L-Glutamine an amino acid if taken on an empty stomach [500 to max 1000mg daily] helps curb your sweet tooth - is suppose to improve memory and has been suggested for use in drug rehabilitation. Like other things you have to rotate it too. You should also take a good multi-amino acid product [at least four hours different] so that your body has other ingredients to use the L-Glutamine properly. The reason to take the amino acid signally is that which ever one gets to brain 1st is the only one that will be absorbed into the brain - thus if you want L-Glutamine to work on brain - take it on an empty stomach. If L-Phenyalanine [or the DL] then take it on an empty stomach. If the L-P don't forget to take some herb with sedative effects at same time [i use St 's Wort] so that you are calmer -L-P makes neo-adrenaline in the brain which can not only keep you alert but can make you quick tempered. L-P not used in the brain modulates the thyroid. Herbs and other things like in amino acids in therapeutic doses act LIKE DRUGS and should be treated with the same care that you with any medication. Guest guest
you sound very precise in your use of supplements. Can you be precise about how much the things you do help. I do not mean to be rude but I often find that folk develop beliefs around whatever they take in though they continue to be quite sick. I have been guilty of the same thing. We all what to be in control of out health. So my question is how much does you system help. One other question what source do you use of L-glutamine. thanks Steve > re primrose oil > > > From: Brown <pbrown@...> > > Yes I tried Ev P oil. The recommended dose is 8 capsules daily.
