Lipid Peroxidation Test; Oxidative Stress; glutathione functionality test

I'm catching up by reading previous digests, so forgive that this is responding

to questions from April 5th and 6th.

Jody you asked about lipid peroxidation tests, then discoved some great info

about them from Antibody Assay Laboratories, I think.

Dr. Cheney ran an Oxidative Stress Test on me in May of 1998. It is done by

Great Smokies Diagnostic Laboratory. (He used Antibody Assay laboratories for

other tests.) It is a blood and urine test that uses lipid peroxidation as one

measure of free radical damage/oxidative stress. It also measures glutathione

functionality, something Cheney wanted tested before recommending Immunocal,

though most all CFIDS patients are low in that area.
