Guest guest
[Ref: Journalists's Statement on AIDS] And as was stated in an earlier response and what is missing from this charter is that stories of incidents and events that hamper the work should also be highlighted not just the stories of epidemic increases and the so called high risk groups we always want to blame. A classic article which would sell magazines world wide would be an in depth analysis of how the President of an NGO and her children at the forefront of equality and prevention efforts can be beaten up by local mafia types in Kolkota while the police just watched. Part of the highlighting could be also that no crime report will be documented and the officers in charge are still in their jobs. That kind of reporting might be a much more journalistically useful piece of focus material.
