Guest guest
Here's one of my " best doctor story " : one cardiologist actually, physically patted me on the bum on my way out of his office saying to me: there, there, it will get fixed up when you're happier in your life, know what I mean? That was right at the start of my getting funny heart beats and he was my very first cardiologist, so eventhough I was a bit taken aback (to say the least), I didn't react as I should've (whack him one!), I just ran out of his office and only got really angry when I got to my car, and... burst into tears!!! That was years ago, in Australia, I'm sure the most macho of docs would not dream of behaving like this today, they'd be too scared of being sued (even in France). Christa, I also withhold payment if I'm not happy with a consultation, then I tell the secretary to tell doc he/she can ring me if he wants to know why I am not paying him/her. None of the ones I've done this with have ever rung me or demanded to be paid. Otherwise, I would gladly tell them.
