Inside Edition Update

Hi All!

I spoke with Stefanie, the awesome producer from Inside Edition for our apraxia segment. The show, which is now scheduled to air sometime in December, was filmed on a "stand-by" show, but we still don't have the airdate. Our segment was originally taped onto the show it's now on since this show was originally scheduled to air in September. (Then it didn't) The good news is that the producers love the apraxia segment, so if it doesn't air by Christmas, Stefanie is going to have the segment "retaped" into another show that does has a scheduled airdate. If this happens, there will be two shows out there with our apraxia segment! I think that's pretty cool. We have other things happening that Stefanie (producer) is aware of that could mean a whole new TV segment for apraxia as well.

We showed the Inside Edition segment at our last meeting, and everybody thought it was powerful. Just wait until other media sees this. Wait until the country sees this, they will be blown away.

I also did get a call from the person in charge of legal at Inside Edition last Friday when I was out, and we have played phone tag all week. I'm still trying to find out from the legal department if people can purchase these apraxia segment tapes from states where the Inside Edition show has not aired yet. Typically they don't allow this, but legal is considering this for us. By the time we find out though, maybe it will air, and that won't be an issue!
