About the Children's Apraxia Network listserve

Hi everyone,

I want to apologize to anyone who sent me messages to send out to our email list. There are to many for me to pass on. This list is for meeting information, research we are going to soon be involved in for apraxia, and updates on Inside Edition TV and other media (sometimes a relevant humorous email.) Occasionally I will send a message out if I believe that a person really needs input from all of you. Most of the emails I receive are answered personally by a group of parents and professionals affiliated with Children's Apraxia Network. Believe me, I know as a parent how important it is to hear from other people who understand what your child, and family, is going through.

If I do send a message out from someone asking for help, please answer them directly, if you have the time to do so. If you really like to "talk" through a list to others, Apraxia-Kids has a wonderful list serve with a huge amount of mail (40-60 emails a day!) regarding apraxia. http://www.apraxia-kids.org Even though it may be hard to keep up with the mail, it is highly recommended, and you will learn so much. If you really can't take that many emails, switch to "digest." If you have a "Late Talker" there is a great listserve you can join to "talk" as well Latetalkers

We have 2 proposed research projects that I hope you will find as exciting as I do, and I will be sending information out on that.

Again, my apologies about the emails sent to our listserve that I'm not sending out, it is nothing personal. I really appreciate the time spent writing them and will forward them on, or they will be answered. If there comes a time that we change this list, it will be because as a group that is what is wanted. If you have strong feelings about this either way, please let me know. Working together is the best way to help raise awareness about "late talker vs. apraxia," which will ultimately help our children.
