Guest guest
hi all, saras post reminded me of what i have been using for years for lighting (for reading etc.) which i started after my first eye surgery.(worked well after 2nd one and now with cfids is wonderful except for monster neurological , headaches days then only want dark room) use chromalux bulbs, which are a violet- purple bulbs have seen in 60 and 120 watts sizes , work like standard bulbs ,screwed into lamps etc.(sorry dont know equaivalent terms for people living overseas)softer light than standard light bulbs, less eye strain, things appear closer to their natural color, more natural lighting, orgin in finland. last about one to two years alittle more delicate than regular bulbs when dropped, but the catch is they are expensive and hard to find.(hardware stores, catalogues) i cannot tolerate flourscent bulbs either . ellice

Hi E...... Not many people can take the flours. lights these days.... I forgot that I use them also Verilux, made in France , many cfsfms catalogues sell them, but another E..... uses Grow Lights from a hardware, garden stores etc. might be worth looking into if they are a type of Full Spectrum bulb.
