epam and symptom relief

Just wondering if anyone has ever used diazepam (Valium) as a long

term treatment or for short term relief. My GP recently suggested it.

I started taking 5mg 3 times a day and within 48 hours most of the

usual symptomatic problem disappeared or were severely reduced.

Only trouble is I felt like I was half asleep most of the day and

couldn't imagine living like that day to day. I then tried reducing

to 2mg 3 times a day with reduced (though still noticeable)results.

epam is a muscle relaxant which must go some way yoo explaining

this effect. A big word of warning though - do not have a drink. I

had a couple of glasses of wine at a party and nearly collapsed.

Perhaps there are related drugs that can act more specifically

without the general overall numbness that this drug produces afetr a

couple of days - and the effect is cumulative.

I have also had success with Temazepam for relief from the

occassiional spasms that I encounter - but its a total knockout

(definitely not for day time use).

Im taking 3mg of Arginine a day and finding little benefit.
