Global Fund information sharing meeting, Dhaka 21-24, july 2002

The WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia in Delhi is organizing a

meeting on " Global Fund " information sharing meeting in Dhaka

Bangladesh on 21-24th July 2002. This is a bi- regional meeting

between the WHO South -East Asia and the Western Pacific Regions. The

objective of this meeting is:

To share the experiences relating to the first round of application

and the lessons learned for use during the second round.

To review and analyse the comments made by the GFATM on each country

proposal and discuss area for revision or modifications, where necessary.

To assess the status of the country proposals for the second round and

finalise technical support missions to specific countries, as needed.

To update on the guidelines and procedures relating to the

disbursement and financial management at the country level including

sub-trustee ship as well as on the monitoring and evaluation of GF

supported activities.
