Dear e Group,

Sexual Health Resource Centre has been set up recently through a contract from

DFID India to ORG-MARG for providing technical assistance for HIV/AIDS

initiatives in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Gujarat, West Bengal and

Kerala in India.

SHRC is looking for a technical officer and a documentation officer for

facilitating provision of technical inputs to the five States.

Job Title: Technical officer

Location: Delhi

Duration: Two months (likely to be extended to 14 months)

Qualification and Experience:

Advanced university degree in Social / Behavioral sciences/ Public health

ESSENTIAL

- Minimum 2-3 years experience working in the area of HIV/AIDS

- Research/ Field project intervention experience

DESIRABLE

- Management experience

- Expertise in the areas of Behaviour change communication/STI control

programmes, or condom promotion

Will need to travel within India for about 25% - 35% of the time

Job Title: Documentation and Dissemination officer

Location: Delhi

Duration: Two months (likely to be extended to 14 months)

Qualification and Experience:

Advanced university degree in Social / Behavioral sciences/ Journalism /related

areas.

ESSENTIAL

- At least 3 years experience in documentation.

- Good knowledge about issues in HIV/AIDS.

DESIRABLE

- Work experience in HIV/AIDS/Health areas.

- Good writing skills including compilation from various documents

- Adept at dissemination of information at various levels using innovative

means

Salary : Based on qualifications, experience, skills and past track record and

as per SHRC norms
