Program Executive – HIV /AIDS

Reporting to: HIV / AIDS Coordinator / Department Director - CRS

Mumbai.

Catholic Relief Services, an Overseas Relief and Development Agency

working in more than 80 countries and territories around the world to

alleviate poverty and suffering, is seeking qualified professionals

to work for its Mumbai Office. The positions are contractual and

carry attractive salary packages, commensurate with experience.

Candidates from Mumbai would be preferred.

Specific Responsibilities

To develop and execute the HIV / AIDs strategy in the Mumbai Zone

To facilitate relationships with new partners to implement HIV / AIDs

programming

To support partners under the program through regular field visits

To monitor, review and evaluate the program at the field level as

laid down in the strategy

To utilize MIS generated data for effective programming

To provide technical assistance for the implementation of the program

To undertake assignments as directed

To monitor resource utilization at the field level through attendance

at distribution of resources and checks to be conducted during field

visit as per program needs.

To attend meetings / workshops/ trainings etc as required and submit

reports on the same

To undertake training of partners, partner staff, program

participants and others under the strategy

Any other responsibility in the interest of the Agency

Qualifications and Experience

Applicant should possess a postgraduate degree preferably in

Sociology, Social work, Rural Development, HIV/AIDS sector or its

equivalent. At least 3 -5 years experience in a middle management

position in a development organization having experience of field

implementation. Excellent computer skills, including word

processing, spreadsheets and databases. Excellent communication

skills particularly in spoken and written English and Hindi.

Experience in working with local development organizations to

strengthen their capacity Willingness to learn and adapt to changing

situations Qualified female candidates are encouraged to apply

You will be capable of providing competent, independent and

professional advice. You will also be able to work constructively in

multidisciplinary teams. You will be required to travel extensively

in India.

Salary: Commensurate to qualification and experience
