Quality Control for Bloodscreening for HIV testing

I recieved a e-mail from the CCM of INDIA mentioning the development of a so

called External Quality Assesment Scheme (EQAS) for HIV, etc testing see e-mail

below from Dr Selil.

Who can inform my about this nationwide EQAS program in development.

Dear Mr Nivard,

Thank you for sending the proposal for inclusion in the Global fund

proposal from India

The proposal is an interesting and innovative way to promote quality in the

TTI component of Blood Banking. However we will not be in a position to

include this in our package as we have a nationwide EQAS that is being

developed by us and we would like to concentrate on operationalising that.
