Guest guest
Dear Forum members, This is Geoffrey again just wanting to reflect on this post from Dr Pandey. Part of what this post says is that the client is living with this biological setback and is seeing at as what it should be for all indians, a chronic manageable illness. Not only is he planning to continue his life in a positive living capacity he is also prepared to share the journey with someone else. It is the first glimpse I have had in India of what is commonplace in Australia and of course should be here also. That Dr Pandey has agreed to assist in the matchmaking has also indicated that it is seen by him as a normal part of his healing practice. Congratulations Ved. BTW for all those readers who are wondering where I am I am in Gujarat and i had a simply wonderful time in manekchowk markets in ahmedabad with a whole host of under 14 yr old school kids who are mostly able to speak english and a whole lot of people who joined the group with much discussion about hiv-aids and sexuality, lots of translations, lots of coffee and much laughter interspersed of course with cricket talk and questions about Australia. Some of these people were also teachers, a large proportion were same sex attracted males, part of the 100 million estimated same sex attracted Indian population statistics. Final question before I got into the Rickshaw to go home was " Are you coming back again tomorrow night? " How long are you staying in Ahmedabad " ? What a great time I am having apart from the difficulties of finding non veg cooks and non spicy food and of course the hopeless Airtel cell phone service which tells me how many voice mail messages I have but won't let me listen to them. Next stop Delhi. Geoff Heaviside Mobile : (91) 9840 097 178 E-mail: <gheaviside@...> _____________________________
