esophageal myotomy (same as heller?)

My husband had an esophageal myotomy. It sounds the exact same as the

heller procedure. He was cut from the base of the neck in the back to

the side halfway down his ribs. Along the shoulder blade area. Then

they went inside and through the back of the ribs and split the muscle

at the bottom of his esophagus.
