Reports of the Satellite India at the XIV International AIDS Conference

Dear subscribers of and SAATHII e-groups,

Greetings to all of you.

It is to the credit of all those who participated that we had a very

interesting and interactive session at the Satellite India during the XIV

International AIDS Conference at Barcelona. Though the Hall 2B was

jam-packed and people were on the floor and had also filled the corridor,

and the session started late, it was introspective and some plans had been

chalked out. It is time now to consolidate these efforts.

It is the duty of those who attended to recount, analyze and present

candidly what was said and also what was not, so that those who could not

attend could be benefited.

Hence, I would like to join the Moderators of the and SAATHII

e-forums to call on all the Rapporteurs, Speakers, and Presenters for the

various sessions of the Satellite India Conference to send in their short

reports, soft copies of their presentations, notes taken during the sessions

etc., in the next few days to Dr. Subhasree Raghavan,(ssr12@...) who

could collate it into a long report for final postings on these forums. If any

in the audience have asked questions that was not sufficiently answered or

covered,

please feel free to highlight them. Needless to say, the speakers and the

audience are still available on these forums. Hence, looking forward to your

enthusiastic efforts in translating speech into action.
