Guest guest
-Hi, We are no where near it. It hit the coast at Innisfail in Queensland which is the NE side of Australia. I am in the centre. I believe the biggest difference between a hurricane and a cyclone is that they are in different hemispheres and move in the opposite direction. Now that is delving back into my memory. I hope I am right there. It is quited devestating in the area it hit, leaving people homeless and in the rain and no electricity. Some areas were evacuated earlier. It was a Cat 5 cyclone. -- In achalasia , " michelle " <michelle.mcnair@...> wrote: > > hey , Kim in NZ, and everyone else Down Under (ack!!
