Guest guest
Hey Giselle! I was wondering who of Dr. Patti's associates you are seeing? Which "fellow" came to see you? On manometries... Cameron had a geat one... They used a new type and explained everything, She used a goo that had an anisthetic on it and used a spray. Prior to this she measured on the outside the length of what his "E" would be. They go through the nose because it bypasses the gag reflex completely. The whole thing took 20 minutes. The flexible tubing had gauges on it, at intervals that measured pressure. Cameron sat there and I sat next to him, and as she gave him a little cup of water ...she would say swallow.. and not swallow. She moved the tube up and we repeated it, all the way up the "E" and we were done. That was that.. all done. Very little discomfort, quick and done. Carolyn... mom of Cameron, another patient of the famous Italiano.. RICHARD <cynmark24@...> wrote: Dear Giselle, Regarding manometry, you know my feelings about that. But, its your doctor who decides, and for you to agree or find another doctor. I am including a link to the s Hopkins website having to do with diagnostic tests for people with "swallowing problems." They include: Wooleeacre Productions Custom Screenprinting on a small scale! Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments.
