The October 2002 issue of Issues in Medical Ethics will carry a selection of

articles on ethical issues in HIV and AIDS in South Asia.

We would appreciate suggestions for articles, material for use in case studies,

reports of encounters with the medical profession, references to discussions in

journals, press reports and any other relevant material.

Issues in Medical Ethics is meant to be a meeting ground for groups concerned

with health and medical ethics -- health professionals, activists, researchers,

students, the media, policy makers, and the public at large. We welcome

contributions from all perspectives.

The deadline is September 1, 2002. Contributions will be reviewed by the

editorial board, and may be edited before publication. All edited material will

be sent to the writer for approval before publication.
