Dear Mukesh, I am moved by your words. It takes a lot of courage and love for a man to admit these things. It proves how right was when she said that people learn this lesson eventually. There's an old song by "The Corgis" that comes to mind which is called "Everybody gotta' learn sometime" (not the best of English grammar, you have to say, but the sentiment is sound). It also proves how true it is that you can try to explain things until you are blue in the face, but people do not understand until they have experienced their own hardships. That's where all the support and empathy comes from on this Board. We

are all in this together. I understand it....bcoz my son is going through this.. I felt nice to confess this...Mukesh RE: Re: Work Woes UpdateYeah , you go girl !!!Let's all have a jolly good rant, vent, moan, shout - about people who don't try to understand.I had to stand my ground with my last boss who could not understand why I could not work for 5 hours straight through (pre-myotomy) without anything to eat or drink. I did not give up the fight and won my corner, but not everyone had the stamina or the assertiveness to do that.I KNOW that bosses have their profts to make, their targets to keep, but for goodness sake they have real people working for them, not

At onepoint, when still worked there, and I knew he wouldn't want meto confront his supervisors directly, I had a letter composed in mymind to explain what DES is and say just what you wrote! It nevermade it to paper, though. Heaven forbid one of THEM or their familiesmembers developed DES or A! I think they would've approached thesituation with MUCH differently then.
