Guest guest
Nate is 14 months. He gets bananas as a treat when hes on antibiotics. (To keep him from getting too loose) He eats applesause about once a week though. Im thinking that its mostly the milk. If he wasnt so tiny I wouldnt allow him to drink so much. Hes 21lbs, which is okay for his age, but hes almost 36in tall which puts him at less than 5% for weight. Its just hard to balance his wieght with his constipation issues. He has good days and bad days. Last week was terrible and today hes gone twice with no problem. (The things moms talk about!! LOL) Anyway, yes.. I agree with the soy. Im going to start him on it slowly though in case he has problems. (his dad did as a baby) Hopefully his ped will have some other good suggestions in a few weeks. BTW, I just found out last week that my ped is not covered under my insurance. SINCE JANUARY!!!! My kids have only gone like FIFTEEN times since then!! I called to get the primary care giver changed and thats when they told me. The doctors office thought they were covered, and missed the return statements saying the bills were denied!! Can you believe that??!! She said we wont have to pay for the prior visits since they screwed up, but I switched insurance the same day, just to be sure!! CRAZINESS!! Im just soooo glad we have such a great doctor! My old dr. would have billed us for it! The new insurance kicks in May 1st so I had to move his 15mo check up to May 5th so it could be paid for, which stinks. His ortho is covered under his current insurance though(his appt is in April), so Im happy about not having to move that!! > > It very well may be the eggs. Guest guest
Im not counting him out of the loop yet! We're just happy hes not progressing. He is still considered infantile. His curve is still high enough to keep him under constant observation for furthur progression. Im not going to just assume that since it went down that its just going to go away. I am very happy that hes not progressing now, but Im also still very alert to the possibility of it coming back. > , > > I am so happy for you. Nate is one of the lucky ones !!! Guest guest
It's no problem. I just appreciate the reply. It's funny just how long of a day this has become. It's now 4:43 am and haven't slept yet. I guess Tuesday can't come soon enough. lol. Nate > > Nate said: > Sorry for the disjointed message. Been a long day. > > I say to Nate: Sorry for the disjointed brain. Can't even give the long day as an excuse. It's only 10am. > > > > > --------------------------------- > Inbox full of spam?
