Guest guest
Jo here, myotomy buddy of a and . My surgery was Dec of 2005, and I do ok most of the time. I have a lot of NCCP's, but my blood pressure is to low for my primary to put me on meds. So, I always have water or soda nearby. Mostly I have been helping to care for Kendrell, our grandson who was shaken at 4 months of age. My husband and I took custody until September when he was returned to our daughter's care. Kendrell has brain damage, is blind in his left eye, his 10 broken ribs have healed, but he has a g-tube for feedings and all his medications. At 14 months of age he does not sit up without assistance, roll over, reach for toys, crawl, or baby talk. When I am caring for Kendrell, my Achalasia doesn't seem very important at all.....in fact I often forget to eat or drink. I also found a job shortly after Kendrell left our home, and am now the assistant manager of a goodwill store in our area. What a wonderful position for a bargain hunter like me! lol! Through it all I read every post, and often begin to reply before I hit cancel because I know there are others that can help more than I can. A special thank you to Maggie, , and Ann who all checked in to see how Kendrell was progressing. God bless. Jo Blauer
