Big Surprise!!!! HELP!!!!!

Hello to all. I really had a big surprise!!!!!

Doctors that do the Heller Myotomy in Mt. Sinai DO NOT take any

insurance!!!!!!!!

DOES anyone know of doctors that do the Heller in New York area that

take some kind of insurance????????? OR other cities?????????

( Medicare, Healthnet or etc.)

You never (ever) get out of having Achalasia!!!!!

I FINALLY had a Heller Myotomy with a partial wrap in March 2006.

( New York City, Costly!!!)Was doing very well until

I got a bad cold with alot of mucous. Had some dinner with wide pasta

which gave me a VERY, VERY bad problem for four hours!!!!

With a Partial Wrap I could NOT VOID ANY FOOD in my esophagus!!!!

SURPRISE!!!!!! SURPRISE!!!!!!!

Achalasia is FOREVER!!!!!!!

Most of us will need a second or maybe a third surgery in years to

come!!!!!More research is NEEDED!!!!!
