Buddy you are at the right place for info. I've been dealing with Achalasia since I was 14(1993). I've had an open hellermyotomy and a lap hellemyotomy since then, due to the severity of my A. I am one of the ones that has had my E removed this past December. Life has been great since. It feels wonderful to eat again and not have to worry about anything coming back up. If you have any questions feel free to ask away.

I ahd achalasia since I was 10. I lost any form of treatment until I was 23 by then it was too late and at 32 i needed to have my esophagus removed. Some MD's think I may have had achalasia as a child but went unnoticedJoe Helping your favorite cause is as easy as instant messaging. You IM, we give. Learn more.

Nick,

Keep your head up and keep up with recent treatments. I ahd

achalasia since I was 10. I lost any form of treatment until I was 23

by then it was too late and at 32 i needed to have my esophagus

removed. Some MD's think I may have had achalasia as a child but went
