I do indeed remember her prayer vase and delighted that she

is going to get in touch. I had to laugh at the vision you had,

because mind was different and I copied from her using my

vision. I used a stem of artificial flowers that my husband had

cut the flowers off (he's a florist). I then clipped my names to the

stems. LOL

I have been enjoying your post lately and had planned to write

you when I thaw out. It is cold in the deep south these days.

Hi all,

Such wonderful news about . I just spoke w/ Kathie (Zeke) and she may go see . She is about 40 minutes away. For those of you who remember her, she had a redo a few years ago, but has had other issues, not related to achalasia, as well as her husband's numerous health issues. She stays busy w/ her travel agency business, huge Avon business and huge volunteer work with veterans and the troops. Because of her MG (mauvis gravis sp?) she has double vision and does her travel agency work on the computer, but doesn't make it here often.

Do you remember her prayer vase? Wellll.... I always envisioned it as having silk flowers in it, silly me.... That came up regarding and I asked if she took the flower out when that prayer wasn't needed any more (thinking back to old prayers). Well... it is a long tall vase w/ a lid and has no flowers, just little slips of paper. Hmmmmm funny how the vision is different. She hasn't filled it up, so all her prayers are in there. Cute.

Maggie, she is going to get in touch w/ you... as I was thinking so much of you also. All us "oldies".

The stories she has about operations and every complication imaginable are incredible, she kept me on the phone in stitches laughing about her and her husband's complications from surgeries and aftercare. If she can laugh through all that, her husband had 5 major heart blockages, and several other major problems at once and survived, it makes it a little easier to get through our problems. I just think of Kathie's problems and her cheerfulness and ignore my little problems.
