Guest guest
Last night as I was sitting down to relax with my cup of coffee after a long day at work and then working an extra 3 hours for afterschool program, my dog got sprayed by a skunk! OMG its like the most concentrated skunk smell ! Almost unbelievable. Way worse than when you smell it on the street dead. I called vet and they gave me this great mixture to use(if ya want it just ask) and it worked great! Poor dog-we had her in the garage it was cold and we were spreading this mixture all over her and then adding warm water as it was so cold cause the heat had yet not warmed up in there. At this point we all were smelling of skunk.I couldnt let her go in the house then the whole house would smell. We were washing and rinsing with totes of warm water from inside the house(poor james was having to transport water to and from while we washed her) and washing her over the drain in garage. It was nuts! Anyway-This smell did get all in the garage and our hall way into the house from the garage. Any cures for what to do with that smell when its on concrete like that????I am gonna try to google and also try spreaing the mixture onto the cement floor but wanted to see if anyone here had any ideas as well. I am open for anything! We had to throw out all the clothes we were wearing! No saving them shew wheee!!!! You guys will love this-- was getting annoyed cause he said he was gonna start to smell like a skunk too.We were like well, we all are but.... we gotta do what we gotta do . He said you and dad have one another already so it doesnt matter if you smell- I dont even have a girlfriend right now! We didnt even think about what he really said at the time cause we were so stressed but this morning hubby and I died laughing about it. Ugh kids! lol Tonia- Off to de skunk some more : )
